Description:

Finding a description of this tomb is difficult, it is 3.4m long by 2.3m wide and is set into the ground (within a clump of trees). There is rock-art on at least two of the stones and there is a standing stone in an adjacent field which also has rock-art on it and is likely to be part of the tomb also. The backstone of the tomb is covered in concentric circles.
Martin Brennan in his book "Stones of Time" put forward theory that this stone would be illuminated by the rising sun on the summer solstice. However due to the trees around the tomb this effect is likely to be hard to see today..
